Easy home energy clearing smudge spray

Now that most people have been cooped up at home for several weeks the strain and stress is almost palpable. I figured everyone could use a fun, fast project to refocus.

Hopefully all of you are practicing good self-care like meditating and getting outside for a walk in the fresh air or setting up some down time away from screens.

Here’s one more tool for you - Energy Clearing Spray, or Smudge Spray if you prefer. This is a wonderful tool to lighten and clear the air in a room, your home, car or office plus it smells nice too. It can be made with a few ingredients that you might have at home or are easily obtained. I make and sell this at metaphysical fairs and on my website but since those aren’t happening any time soon, I thought I’d make the recipe available to those who wanted to give it a try. Energy Spray Recipe: 4-ounce mix

• Lavender Essential Oil - 11 drops

• Sage Essential Oil - 10 drops

• Frankincense Essential Oil (may substitute lemon essential oil) - 4 drops

• Vanilla Essential Oil - 3 drops

• Alcohol (may substitute Witch Hazel) - 1 Tablespoon

• Distilled Water - 89 ml or enough to fill the rest of the 4 oz bottle

• Sea Salt - pinch

• Quartz and Tourmaline pebbles

In a 4 ounce blue or brown glass bottle with spray lid (can use brown or blue plastic bottle as well) add each of the essential oils. Next add the alcohol. Drop in the sea salt, and a pebble each of quartz and tourmaline. Then add the distilled water. Replace the cap and give a good shake to mix the indigence. I recommend using disposable gloves when handling pure essential oils, especially sage because it can cause intense stomach cramping in high doses.

Spray around the room especially in the corners. Avoid spraying in eyes or mouth.

Everything you need to make your own smudge spray

I carry a small 2 ounce bottle of this in my purse so I can clear the energy wherever I find myself. We also use this around the house as needed. My clients love to share with me how after they use it members of their family or coworkers seem a lot nicer to be around. I’ve also used it at the barn when the horses are in a foul mood, after a few spritzes in their stalls they are much nicer to tack up.
